Website Redesign in Rochester, NY

Your existing site, faster and ranking — without the multi-month rebuild and the lost search equity.

Quick answer

Your existing site, faster and ranking — without the multi-month rebuild and the lost search equity.

If your current Rochester business website was built more than three years ago, odds are it's slow on mobile (40%+ of visitors bounce on slow sites), missing modern SEO basics (schema, sitemap structure, canonical tags), and looking dated next to what your competitors have shipped recently. A redesign fixes all of that — but only if you keep your existing search rankings while doing it.

Most agency redesigns destroy six months of Google ranking history because they launch a new site with different URLs, missing schema, and no 301 redirects from the old pages. We handle that part carefully: every existing URL on your site gets mapped to a new URL (or kept as-is), 301-redirected if needed, and submitted for re-indexing the same day we launch. Your traffic doesn't disappear during the transition — it usually grows in the first 30 days because the new site is faster.

Practically: we audit your current site, map every page, identify what's actually generating leads or traffic (using Google Search Console data if you give us access), and rebuild it on the hand-coded Next.js stack. The redesign almost always lands at the same URL structure or a better one, with all the schema + technical SEO + speed wins baked in.

What's included

  • Full audit of the existing site (URLs, traffic sources, conversions)
  • URL map: every old URL → new URL (or unchanged)
  • 301 redirects for any URL that does change
  • GSC + GA4 transition coordinated so reporting stays continuous
  • Hand-coded Next.js rebuild on the new stack
  • Lighthouse 95+ on the new site, guaranteed
  • LocalBusiness + service schema rebuilt and validated
  • Sitemap submitted to GSC + IndexNow + Bing Webmaster Tools at launch
  • Post-launch monitoring for 30 days (we fix anything that broke)

Common questions

Website redesignanswered

Will I lose my Google rankings during the redesign?
No — that's the whole point of how we run a redesign. We map every URL, redirect properly, and submit the new site to GSC + IndexNow at launch. Most clients see stable or growing traffic in week one of the new site.
How long does a redesign take vs a new build?
About the same — 2–4 weeks for Growth, 4–6 weeks for Authority. The audit + URL-mapping work at the front adds a few days, but it saves a month of post-launch SEO recovery, so the net is faster.
Can you keep my existing CMS and just redesign the front-end?
Sometimes — depends on what CMS you're on. If you're on WordPress with significant content, we can keep WordPress as a headless CMS and ship the new Next.js front-end against it. Cleaner is to move to Sanity, but we'll quote both options.
What about my email + hosting if those are at the old provider?
We coordinate DNS so email keeps working through the cutover (most clients use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 for email anyway, which is independent of web hosting). Hosting moves to Vercel as part of the build.
