Custom Web Design in Rochester, NY

Hand-coded Next.js websites for Rochester businesses — fast, on-brand, and built to rank from day one.

Quick answer

Hand-coded Next.js websites for Rochester businesses — fast, on-brand, and built to rank from day one.

Most Rochester small businesses are running a template website that was supposed to be temporary three years ago. The page builder still works, technically, but it loads in five seconds, looks like 40,000 other Squarespace sites, and Google can't figure out what it's about. We build the alternative: a custom-coded Next.js site that loads in under two seconds, looks unmistakably like your business, and ships with the schema markup and local-SEO structure Google actually rewards.

Every site we build is hand-coded — no WordPress page builders, no Wix-style drag-and-drop. That sounds technical, but the practical effect is simple: faster pages, cleaner code that ranks better, and a design that's built around your business instead of forced into a template grid. We start by understanding what you sell and who you sell to, then build a site that turns Google traffic into booked appointments.

Pricing is published and fixed. Starter sites run $750 (1–5 pages, ideal for a new business or a contractor replacing a bad site). Growth is $1,250 (6–15 pages, with a blog and service-area coverage for nearby Rochester suburbs). Authority is $2,500 (unlimited pages plus the full local-SEO + AI-search optimization stack). Every tier bundles a year of hosting and ongoing SEO.

Common questions

Web designanswered

How long does a Rochester web design project take?
Starter sites ship in 1–2 weeks. Growth sites take 2–4 weeks. Authority sites run 4–6 weeks. We do most discovery and design in the first week and have a preview URL you can review by the start of week two.
Will I be able to update the site myself?
Growth and Authority tiers include a Sanity CMS so you can add blog posts, events, and page content yourself. Starter sites are static — content updates run $50 / change or $99 / month for unlimited small edits. Most Starter clients don't need a CMS the first year.
What about hosting and domain?
A year of hosting is included on Vercel (the fastest static host in 2026). Your domain stays with whoever you bought it from — we point it at the new site. After year one, hosting runs about $20–40/year depending on traffic.
Do you build for businesses outside Rochester?
We're Rochester-based and serve Monroe County as our primary market. Syracuse and Buffalo expansion is active — same engineering, same pricing. Outside those three metros, we take projects case by case depending on fit.
