Social Media Autopilot

Your social accounts, run like you had a full-time person on them

Posts written in your voice from your real work. Comments answered in plain human language within the half hour. Leads pulled out of comment threads into your inbox. It's a subscription, and every piece of it runs live on our own accounts right now.

Running Live Right Now

We're not selling a plan. We're selling what already runs.

Everything below operates on ROC Web Tech's own accounts today — same software, same rules, same voice guard you'd get. Check @rocwebtech anywhere and read the replies yourself.

100+

posts scheduled per month

across Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads, and Bluesky — drafted in our voice, quality-gated, planned a month out

~30 min

reply time on comments

an engine checks every account each half hour and answers in plain language — or flags it for a human

0

bot-sounding replies sent

every reply passes a voice check that bans AI tells — exclamation storms, emoji, corporate filler. Fails the check? It never sends.

100%

of sensitive messages escalated

complaints, refunds, anything legal or heated goes straight to a human. The automation never argues with anyone.

What the Autopilot actually does

  • Writes and schedules your month of posts

Content comes from your real work — job photos, finished projects, reviews, the questions customers actually ask you. Drafted in your voice, run through a quality gate that strips invented numbers and AI filler, and scheduled at the right times per platform. You see the calendar before it runs.

  • Answers comments like a person, fast

An engine checks your accounts every 30 minutes. A comment on your post gets a short, specific, human reply — contractions, plain language, references what they actually said. Anything hostile, sensitive, or legal is never auto-answered; it lands in your inbox instead.

  • Turns comment sections into a lead source

When someone asks "how much?" or "do you serve Webster?" under a post, that's a lead — most businesses lose it in the notification pile. The Autopilot detects buying intent, answers publicly, follows up privately where the platform allows, and emails you the lead.

  • Earns attention instead of waiting for it (Growth tier)

Every day it finds a handful of local people publicly asking for help in your lane — "anyone know why my website is so slow?", "looking for a good landscaper in Greece NY" — and answers them usefully. No pitch, no spam, hard daily caps. Helpful answers are how strangers become followers.

The guardrails (read this before buying any social automation)

Most social automation gets accounts flagged because it behaves like a machine: identical replies, no daily limits, midnight activity bursts, hashtag spam. Ours is built the opposite way, because it runs on our own accounts first:

  • Hard daily caps per platform and per action — it does less than an active human would, on purpose
  • One automated touch per person per week — nobody gets repeat-messaged
  • A voice check on every single reply — anything that reads automated is rewritten or never sent
  • Sensitive conversations always escalate to a human — the software never argues, apologizes for a bad job, or handles a complaint
  • Platform rules encoded per network — where a platform requires approval for reply automation, we file it and run compliant until it lands
  • A kill-switch you can ask us to flip any time — everything stops on the next cycle

Common questions

Social media automation — the honest answers

Will it sound like a bot?
This is the problem we've spent the most engineering time on. Every reply is generated in your voice, then checked against a list of machine tells — exclamation-mark enthusiasm, emoji, corporate phrases like "We'd love to help!", hashtag spam, em-dash-heavy AI prose. If a draft trips any check, it's rewritten; if it still reads like a bot, it simply doesn't send. Silence beats sounding automated. We run this exact system on our own accounts — go read the replies on @rocwebtech and judge for yourself.
Which platforms does it cover?
Posting: Facebook, Instagram, X, Bluesky, Threads, and Google Business Profile. Automated replies: available everywhere the platform permits it — some networks (Facebook, Instagram, X) require a platform approval for reply automation, which we file for you as part of setup and run in compliant mode until it lands. LinkedIn company-page automation is on our roadmap pending LinkedIn API access. We tell you exactly what runs on day one versus what activates after platform approvals — no pretending.
Do you post things without my approval?
You approve the plan, not every post. Each month you get the full content calendar up front — you can veto or edit anything. Replies run automatically within strict rules: hard daily caps, a per-person limit so nobody gets repeat-messaged, quiet hours, and automatic escalation of anything sensitive to you. There's also a kill-switch that stops everything instantly if you ever want it off.
What do I actually have to do?
Send us photos of your work when you have them (a shared album is enough), answer the occasional escalated message, and spend 15 minutes a month reviewing the calendar. That’s the whole job. The point of the product is that consistency stops depending on your free time.
How is this different from hiring a social media agency?
A typical Rochester social retainer runs $400–$1,500 a month for a person batch-scheduling canned posts — and replies still sit unanswered overnight. This is software we built and operate: it posts on schedule, answers within the half hour, captures leads out of comment threads, and escalates like a well-trained employee. One developer maintains it instead of an account team, which is why it costs what it costs. And it's month-to-month — cancel anytime.
What results should I expect?
Honest answer: social automation compounds slowly, then noticeably. First month: your accounts look consistently active for the first time. By month two or three: replies and lead capture start converting commenters into inquiries, and the posting cadence starts feeding your Google presence. What we won't promise is overnight followers — anyone promising that is buying bots. We report real numbers monthly and you judge.
